A paraglider show, the discovery of the reserve, the ski club ball and the traditional fireworks display on the lake… The 2022 edition of Lac en fête promises to be spectacular!
After two years of absence due to the pandemic, Lac en Fête returns for its sixth edition this July 16, 2022 at the port of Doussard.
A return expected by many volunteers but which has not been easy, as Emilie Comar, president of the Doussard Ski Club, confides: “After two years of absence it was complicated. We have to get the train moving again. But we managed to find 50 volunteers within the ski club. I really thank them because they all answered present, they will be there Saturday evening. » Then Emilie finished with a smile: “That’s it, we’re ready. »
Precisely, on the program for this Saturday: paragliding aerobatics, the Doussard Ski Club ball with DJ, and a fireworks display at 10 p.m. offered by the municipality of Doussard. And of course, on the on-site catering side, everything is provided: snack, pancakes, and refreshment bar.
Two associations will also be present on the site… Among them, Asters, conservatory of natural spaces in Haute-Savoie. This associative structure manages the nine natural reserves of the department, its missions: to protect, manage and know the natural heritage of Haute-Savoie and to raise public awareness of its riches. On their stand, you will discover the European beaver, one of the inhabitants of the Bout du lac d’Annecy nature reserve. The nature reserve team will tell you more about this surprising animal and can answer your questions. Asters also offers a twilight walk in the heart of the Bout du Lac d’Annecy nature reserve. Anecdotes, riddles and legends will punctuate this original visit! A paid visit (child: €5.50 / adult: €8) for which you will have to register at the Asters stand.
As for the second association, it is Opération Nez Rouge 74, the association which raises awareness of road safety and, in particular, brings revelers home safely on New Year’s Eve. This Saturday evening, no driving for volunteers but an awareness stand and free electronic breathalyzers.
But to come or return from Lac en Fête, there will not necessarily be a need to drive… Indeed, in conjunction with the Community of Municipalities of Sources du Lac d’Annecy, the Doussard Ski Club has set up free shuttles. They will serve two lines, until 1:30 am. One in the Lathuile Doussard sector via the various campsites (line 1). The other will leave from Val de Chaise, departing from Marlens, which will then stop at Saint-Ferréol, Faverges-Seythenex, Giez, Doussard then at the terminus, the Plage car park (line 2). The schedules will be posted at the stops, for line 1, count a bus every 30 minutes, for line 2, every hour, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. For motorists, the car parks of the multipurpose room and the old Doussard station will also be served by shuttles.
