“I started revising a week before the baccalaureate”: this 14-year-old Azurean is the youngest baccalaureate holder in Monaco
France admired the prowess of Odycée, a final year student in Haute-Saône, presented as the youngest French baccalaureate in 2022. But another young girl, also of French nationality and educated in Monaco, is a younger baccalaureate.
But not the youngest (in Nice, a 14-year-old and 9-month-old student won the Bac, we learned this Tuesday evening, the youngest in the Academy).
Isaure Amadi, born July 23, 2007, younger than Odycée one week apart, does not enter the statistics although she depends on the Nice Academy.
Isaure only sees an explanation, “As I am educated in Monaco, I think that the Albert-Ier high school is considered to be located abroad. like mine”.
A rather funny situation in the end since she had inquired, “just for Laughs”on the date of birth of Odycée. “From a very young age, those around me told me that I would be the youngest graduate of my generation, they weren’t wrong”she laughs.
Diagnosed with HPI at 8 years old
Originally from Castellar, the teenager finally graduated on Tuesday July 5 with the mention “Good”. The young student even obtained a score of 16 in mathematics and 18 in the oral exam, during which she had worked on the hypersensitivity of children with High Intellectual Potential (HPI).
Diagnosed herself HPI at the age of 8, she skipped three classes in her career: the middle section, the CM1 then the 6th. “I am not very stressed at school level”also confides the young baccalaureate who entered the competition calmly. “To be honest, I didn’t put in a lot of work. It was a week before the start of the tests that I started revising.”
With 30 wishes made on Parcoursup and only 3 refused, she had a choice. Next September, Isaure will integrate business studies at the Lycée Masséna in Nice.
“I would see if I like the business, if not I would consider a reorientation”. The Economic and General Commercial preparatory class was not his first wish. “My dream is to become a criminologist. As I am very young, I can’t see myself going to school in Montpellier, it’s a bit far”.
An age barrier that is not erased even with the precious sesame in your pocket. Her IQ of 155 has always set her apart. “Several times I felt out of step with the others and not accepted. I was seen as the little nerd. This year my friends are adults, they can go out while I can’t follow them”.
An age difference that does not prevent the daughter of a cellist from the Philharmonic of Monaco to multiply the activities. In particular, she won first place in a cheerleading competition with her team from the Association Fémina Sports.
