Dj Uwa was a close friend of Ivan Jonák
If you’re familiar with Joe by now, we’re going to tell you where you might know him from! Behind his real name Uwe Vanik, better known as DJ Uwa, hides an excellent master of polished mixing, who is literally the king of discos! He was born in 1971 and after completing his studies worked in the legendary Prague Sylvia’s Discolandwhich belonged controversial businessman Ivan Jonák. But he built his career not only in Sylvia. Subsequently, he played in clubs throughout the country and abroad.
He has Tourette syndrome. The disease did not come until 2019, when he saw himself from the recording of an interview for Blesk.cz. Uwa is divorced and has two sons, the elder Uwa of the same name and the younger Lukáš.
Uwu and Jonák formed a close friendship. That is why he is still convinced that Jonák did not order the murder of Ludvika’s wife. “My view is that Ivan did not do this and did not want to do it, for one simple reason. You’re forty years old, your business is making absolutely incredible money, and you’re enjoying yourself. You have two wonderful children together. You break up but in style I’m not kicking you out, you’re always home here, we can take turns, we’ll split the money, tell me how you want it. I was there many times when they agreed. There was no hatred between them. Of course, when he found out that Ludwik had a lover, that he went on a rampage then, but then it was by agreement.” he said DJ Uwa for Extra.cz.

He never admitted his guilt, yet he went to prison. Jonák was a lover of women. Discoland also featured those who were later convicted of other crimes. For example, David Berdych, a member of a gang of extortionists connected to the police, or Albert Žirovnický, who was convicted of murder. When Jonák got out of prison, he tried to restore the company’s glory, but he never succeeded. He didn’t have the money for it.
