Toulouse: to avoid the police, he takes the device in the opposite direction then enters a garden and lies down on a deckchair
After refusing to comply, a driver drove 26 km at more than 180 km / h to escape the police. In particular, he took part of the ring road in the opposite direction.
For 26 km, this 28-year-old man took all the risks to escape the gendarmes and the national police. In addition to driving at 180 km / h, the driver took the ring road in the opposite direction for ten kilometers before hiding in a garden in Toulouse.
It all starts on June 12 in the middle of the afternoon. It is 4 p.m. that Sunday, when the gendarmes patrol the streets of Muret, south of Toulouse. The soldiers meet several motorists, but one of them particularly attracts their attention. This is the driver of a Volkswagen Golf 4 driving at very high speed on these narrow roads.
The soldiers chase him and order him to stop. But the madman does not comply. On the contrary. He waves goodbye to them and speeds up. For 26 km, the fugitive practically never brakes, including when he crosses very emitted roundabouts. Proof that he is not afraid of anything, he films his exploits with the laptop in one hand while the other is on the wheel.
Judged on Tuesday
After having taken the device in the opposite direction, risking a serious accident, the questioning even the gendarmes. But drug addicts relay it. They went to the car in the Bagatelle sector, in Toulouse, but the driver is no longer inside. From then on, the police officers dispersed to make sure that the suspect was not hiding in one of the pavilions located nearby.
While walking in this residential area, one of the police officers crosses a man lying on a deckchair in one of the private gardens, as if he were enjoying the tranquility. But the policeman finds his attitude bizarre. This 30-year-old is breathing hard and seems out of breath. As a precaution, the police control it. He is indeed the fugitive sought by the gendarmes.
Defended by my Sarah Nabet-Claverie and Alexandre Parra-Bruguière, he is judged this Tuesday in immediate comparison.
