On Monday, July 11, an exhibition of decommissioned military equipment of the Russian occupation army opens in Prague. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine brought to Prague Russian combat equipment captured by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in battles with the occupiers, such as the T-90 tank, the Šturm anti-tank system, the Buk anti-aircraft system, the Chosta mortar system or the Msta howitzer. The exhibition will also include some of the more than 3,000 rockets and missiles fired by the Russian army at Ukrainian cities. The exhibition will be on view until July 24 on the Letenská plain in Prague.
According to a statement from the Ukrainian embassy in Prague, the decommissioned combat vehicles will become a reminder of the horrors of war brought about by Russian aggression against Ukraine, but at the same time a symbol of hope in the victory of democratic Europe over the aggressor. The exhibition should also express Ukraine’s gratitude to the Czech Republic for the delivered weapons and ammunition that help the defenders fight against the Russian invaders.
