Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Marian Jurečka in an interview for the newspaper Right says the wealthier should contribute more to the aid budget for people threatened by high prices. Jureček has not yet stated the specific level of taxation of Czechs with higher incomes. He can imagine that it would be temporary, between two and four years. According to the deputy prime minister, this is the time when the state will have to cover the highest costs it will have due to high energy prices when helping the household.
