The prevention of the spread of the disease among the senior group at risk of the disease should be wearing respirators for the entire duration of the visit to the social facility and increased attention to hygiene measures.
According to the recommendations of representatives of the metropolis and the regional hygiene station, people with symptoms of a respiratory disease should only be allowed to visit in exceptional situations and after they have passed an antigen or PCR test.
According to recommendations, clients of homes for the elderly should also wear a respirator when they are outside the facility, i.e. when traveling by public transport, shopping, etc.
At the same time, according to councilor Johnová, Prague is preparing a second booster dose of the vaccine against covid-19 in homes for the elderly. The director of the Hygienic Station of the capital city of Prague, Martina Marešová, also recommended the administration of the fourth dose of serum to the elderly. The second dose of the covid-19 vaccine can be administered approximately four months after the first booster vaccine.
