Oddstips, Tippetips | Denmark is underestimated and can take points against Germany
Germany have been made surprisingly big favorites in tonight’s European Championship opening in Denmark. We think Denmark can surprise.
Wednesday night, the European Women’s Football Championship began with the match England against Austria, a match England won 1-0. On Thursday night, Norway became the big favorite against Northern Ireland with a 4-1 victory. England is hosting this year’s championship. There are a total of nine cities where the championship is to be played and a little surprising is perhaps that New York Stadium in Rotherham and Leigh Sports Village in Leigh are among these. More well-known names like Old Trafford, Etihad Stadium, St. Mary’s Stadium and Brammal Lane in Sheffield are also among the nine selected. The final will of course be played at Wembley in London.
It is not easy to pick out a winner, in fact there are six nations that stand between 4.30 in odds and 7.40 in winning odds. Norway is not among them and stood at 14 in odds before the championship took place. Spain were favorites at Norsk Tipping at 4.30 in odds, while the host nation England was the second favorite at 5.00 in odds.

Germany is among the gold favorites
Germany are usually among the favorites for gold, but they have actually only won one of six matches in 2022. That victory came at home against Switzerland in the last dress rehearsal before the European Championship finals. Stands with seven wins and a loss in the ongoing World Cup qualifiers.
Denmark took silver in the previous European Championships
Denmark lost a little undeserved 1-2 against Norway in the last dress rehearsal before the European Championship finals. That match was played in Varberg in Sweden last week. Has otherwise won 2-1 against both Austria and Brazil in two other warm-up matches. In the World Cup qualifiers, Denmark has a full pot after seven games played.
Denmark took silver in the previous European Championship in 2017 after 2-4 losses against the Netherlands in the final.
Surprising that Germany is set to such big favorites, and 4.00 on points sharing in this opening match tempts far more.
