A survey ranks Toulouse third most attractive city according to students
Diplomeo, a comparator of higher education courses in France, has just published a survey of students’ favorite cities. Toulouse takes 3rd place.
Toulouse is used to podiums when it comes to surveys of student towns. Once again, the Pink City is no exception. Diplomeo, the orientation platform for high school students and students of the HelloWork group, questioned 2,449 students from June 7 to 27, 2022 on their feelings about the cities where they study according to several criteria such as the quality of higher education, cost of life, quality of life and cultural offer or even access to housing…
Among the 22 French cities surveyed, Toulouse won the bronze medal. It ranks behind Rennes and Strasbourg, which stands out for the quality of its transport (2nd), its general quality of life (2nd), the quality of its infrastructure (3rd) and of course its training offer (3rd). Toulouse is particularly recommended by students to other young French people wishing to change their place of study.
Beyond the general ranking, cities stand out on certain criteria that are important to students. The Pink City, for example, is favored for its quality of life (1st) and the quality of its infrastructure (2nd). The students questioned by Diplomeo also rated their metropolis according to the possibilities of pursuing interesting studies and career development. The students placed Bordeaux (98%) and Toulouse (96%) at the top of the cities in which the continuation of their studies seems to be the most interesting. Cities are in the top 10 in terms of career development.
The only downside for Toulouse according to the students is its geographical location. Cities by the sea such as Nice, Toulon or Montpellier are in the top 3 while the Pink City only occupies 10th place.
