Portugal integrates Europol action against child trafficking that makes more than 130 detainees – Observer
Portugal has had child trafficking pollution and has been arrested at more than one human trafficking fair30 that was intended to investigate more than one human trafficking fair, Europol announced trafficking in persons.
According to a press release, the operation took place between the 6th and 13th of June and was coordinated by the Frontex agency, with the participation of 22 countries alongside Interpol and more than 22,480 agentscarrying out controls at sea, land and air borders at European level.
There was also a scan of around 13,500 locations, 193,020 vehicles, over 101,000 documents (101,790) and nearly a million people (970,440).
during an operation 60 new suspects were also identified and over 130 potential victims of human traffickingof which more than a dozen are minors.
Like the efforts carried out by Europol, documents coordinated as operational activities, through a virtual command post, will also make it possible to detect more than 220 forgeries.
Law enforcement authorities also verify the vulnerable identity of 11,130 minors, who remain the most trafficked and exploited group. Many are victims of forced sexual exploitation, begging or different types of forced crime, including petty crimes and drug trafficking. They also become victims of labor exploitation and domestic slavery.
In addition to Portugal, this operation also includes Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, Netherlands, Sweden, Romania, Spain, Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Liechtenstein, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Ukraine and UK.
