five companies become partners of l’Envol des Pionniers
“Today’s pioneers join yesterday’s pioneers”. Five Toulouse companies have become partners with L’Envol des Pionniers this Monday, July 4, 2022. This place is dedicated to the beginnings of aviation in Toulouse. In a press release from L’Envol des Pionniers, it is stated that “these five new partners invested in the aeronautical sector adhere to the pioneering spirit of the place and share the values of initiative, entrepreneurship, innovation dear to the precursors of the transport of mail by air, the airmail”.
The five Toulouse companies
In total, five Toulouse companies have signed partnership agreements with L’Envol des Pionniers. These new partners are specialists in innovation, new mobility and communication. They are delighted with existing partners such as MGEN, Banque Populaire Occitane and Enedis. The new partners are:
- Aura Aero, the first digital and eco-efficient aircraft manufacturer. It industrializes “disruptive technologies resolutely turned towards the aviation of tomorrow, by combining the best of the aeronautical and digital industries”. Note that the company manufactures aircraft of “unparalleled efficiency in the growing market for eco-efficient and low-carbon vehicles”. Since 2018, she has been based in Toulouse-Francazal.
- A major international group of tier 1 aircraft manufacturers, Latécoère is one of the new partners of L’Envol des Pionniers. The company is known in particular for its partnerships with Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier…
- Delair has designed and manufactures “high elongation” drones for industrial use and for security and defense. The company, present in more than 70 countries, is developing future hydrogen drones.
- OpenAirlines is the publisher of a platform called “SkyBreathe”. The company offers digital eco-piloting tools to airlines. The latter need these tools to “implement a greener and more sustainable aviation”.
- And finally, Safetyn. The latter company develops “innovative” solutions and equipment for airmen and personnel. The tools that the company offers range from the in-flight assistant, to debriefing techniques and “psycho-pedagogical” engineering for instructors.
Objective: promote L’Envol des Pionniers
These five new partnerships have one objective: to promote L’Envol des Pionniers in France and Europe. They keep in mind to “carry on this adventurous spirit and to continue to ‘connect women and men’ as the pioneers of old did”. How do they want to do it? By “designing tomorrow’s means of transport and communication, more responsible and safer”.
