Covid-19: return of the mask recommended
The incidence rate is increasing in the Principality and the Government recalls the importance of the barrier gestures necessary to curb the spread.
The Covid figures are rising and worrying the Principality. For the moment, Monaco is rather preferred compared to the PACA region. Indeed, the incidence rate in the Principality now reached 748 positive cases per 100,000 inhabitants, whereas it was only 148 a month ago.
This Monday, July 4, 23 people, including 15 residents, were hospitalized at the CHPG. There is no patient treated in intensive care.
With this in mind and to protect the population, the Prince’s Government is not yet taking any restrictive measures but recalls the measures to be observed to protect itself and others.

Gestures to respect
Thus, vaccination is again encouraged, especially for people over 60 years of age. This would be their fourth dose if the schedule is complete and adhered to. Also, the Government recommends wearing a mask in the places concerned and on public transport.
Of course, common sense measures are also remembered, such as frequent hand washing, avoiding touching your face, greeting without touching, coughing into your elbow and above all airing the rooms.
