Ukraine seized the property of Russia and Belarus worth more than 360 million hryvnias, using Office of the Prosecutor General.
According to the OGP, it is about goods and material values belonging to their enterprises (worth more than UAH 350 million) and 315 railway containers with mineral fertilizers that were imported and used in violation of the customs legislation of Ukraine (worth more than UAH 10 million).
“In order to ensure the preservation of this property as physical evidence and their possible confiscation in the future, the Prosecutor General’s Office, on the basis of the decisions of the investigative courts of the Shevchenkiv District Court of Kyiv, announced arrests. A pre-trial investigation was conducted by the Bureau of Economic Security on the fact of willful evasion of paying taxes in particularly large amounts,” the OGP notes.
On June 30, the Security Service of Ukraine reported the seizure of the corporate rights of one of the largest travel agencies, the ultimate beneficiary of which is a Russian billionaire “close to the political leadership of the aggressor country.”
On July 2, the National Police of Ukraine announced the seizure of assets of companies registered in Russia worth more than 30 million hryvnias in the Sumy region.
