Drivers complain about queues: they are waiting for the opportunity to enter Belarus | Belarus news
Drivers complain about unpleasant waiting in queues to leave Poland for Belarus. Although the profile website of the Polish border guards says that the waiting time for cars is only about an hour, the drivers told Euroradio that they simply followed the line for about three hours.
Local publication “Virtual Brest” writesthat the drivers even began to honk their horns to attract the attention of the border guards. You can’t do that, but apparently they are already too tired from many hours of waiting in line.
They joke about getting the Brest forums – and it’s still the Poles in Belarus who didn’t rush through the visa-free regime. Our interlocutor: indeed, they did not rush. Most of the cars in the queue to leave Poland have Belarusian license plates.
Truck drivers are in even worse situations. The site of the Polish border service predicts a 22-hour wait in line for them.
And even this is incomparable with the approximate situation that has developed with the Belarusian side of the border points. The largest line has accumulated at the Belarusian-Lithuanian border at the Kamenny Zhurnal checkpoint – there are more trucks waiting for the opportunity to enter the EU. On the Belarusian-Polish border, the situation is slightly better – there are more than 400 trucks waiting to enter Poland.
