Prince Albert II chairs the Olympic Committee of the Principality of Monaco, which takes part in the Mediterranean Games in Oran with a delegation of 30 members, including 17 athletes.
His Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended, the day before yesterday in Oran, part of the competitions of the 19th edition of the Mediterranean Games Oran-2022. His Highness attended table tennis quarter-final matches and judo matches at the Mohamed-Benahmed Convention Center in Oran, before meeting athletes from the Principality of Monaco. Prince Albert II of Monaco arrived in Oran on Wednesday evening for a two-day visit to attend the events of the Mediterranean Games.
He was welcomed at Ahmed-Ben Bella International Airport in Oran by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra, who wished him, on behalf of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, welcome and a good stay in Oran El Bahia.
In turn, Prince Albert II expressed his heartfelt thanks to President Tebboune for his generous invitation, extending his sincere congratulations to the Algerian government and people for the good organization and restrained success of this Mediterranean sporting event.
At the end of this two-day visit, Prince Albert II left Oran the day before yesterday in the afternoon. His Highness was mentioned on his departure from Ahmed Ben Bella International Airport by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra, the adviser to the President of the Republic in charge of external relations, Abdelhafid Allahoum, the Algerian ambassador to Monaco, Mohamed Antar Daoud, and the local civil and military authorities.
