In June 2022, less than 719 million used the services of the Krakow airport, i.e. only 4 percent. less compared to June 2019, but already by 255 percent. more than in June 2021. In total, from the beginning of 2022, almost 3.2 million of them were handled at the airport in Krakow.

– When planning the development of the Krakow airport in 2022, we assumed that Krakow’s services would be successively operated in the winter months and in the traffic years. It grows much faster, and all thanks to a great passion for sky travel – said Radosław Włoszek, CEO of Kraków Airport. – We thank those comrades who have many challenges related to coexistence with the airline organization chosen as the vacation aid carrier – added the Italian.

The Kraków connection inaugurated by LOT on 4 June was recorded for the good result of the airport. They are for transatlantic flights on the route from Krakow to the Newark airport in New York. Flights related to the 787 Dreamliner inspection from Krakow to Newark resumed after 11 years. At both airports in Krakow and New York, cameras were introduced to the new ceremonial water salute. National Arrangement plans for the Atlantic depart every night at 14.30. In turn, LOT starts to Chicago from Krakow four times a week, i.e. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
