The salaries of the employees of the State Enterprise “Calea Ferată din Moldova” (CFM) will be increased by 89%, from July 1, 2022. According to the representatives of the Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, the decision was voted unanimously in the Commission for Social Dialogue ” employer-employees ”within the MFF. Thus, according to new calculation formulas, from July 1, the average monthly salary of CFM employees will increase from 4,050 lei to 8,469 lei.

“From July 1, the employees of the State Enterprise” Calea Ferată din Moldova “will receive 89% higher salaries. Thus, according to the new calculation formula, the average monthly salary of employees will increase from 4,050 lei to 8,469 lei. Previously, CFM representatives mentioned that starting with July 2022, the salaries of CFM employees will be increased by 70%. According to Alina Merlici, the spokesperson of the Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Andrei Spînu, a recalculation of the incomes of the MFF was made and within the Commission for social dialogue “employer-employees” within the Enterprises the decision was taken to increase up to 89 percent salary increase, the MFF’s ability to pay is higher.

Calea Ferată din Moldova announced on May 31 that it has paid in full the salary arrears to the company’s employees, accumulating the previous employees. As of June 1, 2021, with the change of management of the company, current salaries began to be paid late, without current months. At the same time, the arrears of unpaid salaries from previous periods were also extinguished.

“The recovery of the economic and financial situation of the company, which led to the lack of accumulations of new arrears, was possible for the good management of operational activities, but also for actions of development and maintenance of infrastructure, the achievement of current CFM management jointly with The Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development but also with the support of other state and international institutions “, mentions CFM at the end of May.

At the end of March, PCCOCS announced that it had completed the criminal investigation on an indictment in the case of embezzlement from the State Railway Company of Moldova (CFM), which targets the person in the administration, in the period 2018-2019.
