Chat en fête va faire vibrer le Grand Parc
Called Chat en fête, this event will be presented from 6 to 9 p.m. Chat en Fête will be the crossroads of three different artistic disciplines. First, singing with the Chorus of the Opéra National de Bordeaux, conducted by Salvatore Caputo. They perform Aaron Copland’s The Boatmen’s Dance, an arrangement of a set of traditional American folk songs for choir and piano.
Dance and share
Then, it will be the turn of the vertical dance with the Tango Nomade company. Free as the air, the dancers will perform on the facade of the E tower using a technique borrowed from alpine explorers in search of a new world. Their musical flights oscillate between contemporary dance and circus arts. The facades of the city are transformed by magic into a scenic space of a majestic aerial ballet.
Finally, hip-hop dance with Les Associés Crews by dancer-choreographer Babacar Bouba Cissé. The goal of this company is to develop choreographic creation with dancers who stand out in the hip-hop and contemporary world, mainly from renowned companies. For Chat en fête, Babacar Cissé and his company will present a medley from their repertoire. The themes of sharing, of the relationship to others and to oneself are the leitmotifs of this artistic presentation.
