Brink worked as a Senior Adviser and Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs of the US State Department, coordinating issues related to Eastern Europe and the Caucasus.
From 2014 to 2015, she was the Deputy Head of Mission at the US Embassy in Tashkent. Since 2011 she has worked in Georgia, Deputy Chief of Mission of the US Embassy in Tbilisi.
In late May, Brink was issued a visa to work in Ukraine.
