Where’s the black briefcase? Left-bank Warsaw destroyed in 85 percent – History
The destruction of the ghetto and the fights during the Warsaw Uprising bring new values. After the fall of the Uprising, the Germans began the systematic demolition of Warsaw. He estimates that during the Second Layer War, 84 percent of the capital’s left-handed buildings were destroyed.
Priceless from the album from the collection of Polish Radio, a few more things – recording during the war. The conflict survived the villa at ul. Hoene-Wroński, in which Stefania Żaboklicka and Halina Przedpełska kept one part of the collection. Tenement house at ul. Marszałkowska 124, where the second part of the collection was hidden, burned down during the Warsaw Uprising. Fortunately, the fire did not straw the cellars in which the plates were kept.
