Börse Express – Johann Singer visiting the facade academy in Salzburg
The facade academy of the ÖFHF as a valuable further education module
Brunn am gebirge (OTS/https://www.oefhf.at/) – The Austrian trade association for rear-ventilated facades ÖFHF continued its successful “Façade Academy” format in 2022, which is primarily focused on the further training and interests of fabricators and carpentry workers , engineers, facade planners and consultants in the field. There were exciting insights into material and processing technology, assembly and technical implementation. “The great interest in our academy, which took place in the WIFI training building yard in Salzburg, shows how important it is to always have your finger on the pulse and learn something new, even in the middle of your professional life,” says Zaiser.
Growing interest in the curtain, ventilated
facade
The fact that the academy is in high demand is shown not only by the large number of over 55 participants, including four women this year for the first time. While the companies release their employees for further training in the middle of the construction high season in order to take part in this training, the value of the event was also more than positively connoted by a political representative – Mr. NR MP Johann Singer. He gave a personal impression during a visit to the academy: “The academy as an industry initiative is a very good way. I am very positively surprised that so many employees of companies take the time at the beginning of May, when it is high season in the companies, and consider participation in the academy to be particularly important for personal development. For me, this is a clear sign of how important it is for the entrepreneurs to be there in order to have well-trained employees.” Since the event is certified according to ÖNORM B2900, every participant receives a theoretical test and the Practical part a training certificate.
Shortage of skilled workers – an explosive topic
In addition to the urgent problem of the acute shortage of skilled workers in Austria, which the Fassadenakademie is trying to counteract in this way, it is also strengthening the quality awareness of potential clients. “If the professional association sees to it that the members have the appropriate quality, then I think that’s a very good thing,” said Singer, leading the association’s commitment.
The dates of the Façade Academy of the ÖFHF for 2023 are already being planned. A non-binding registration at the e-mail address [email protected] is now possible at any time.
