Precondition for EU membership: The Republic of Moldova must sell foreign lands
Former President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon revealed that one of the preconditions for countries’ accession to the EU is the sale of agricultural land to foreign nationals. He pointed out that candidate status does not mean that Moldova will become a member of the EU and gave the examples of Serbia and Turkey. At the same time, the EU may no longer exist in the next 10 years, Igor Dodon said.
Obtaining the candidate status for the accession to the European Union of the Republic of Moldova is only a PR action of those in government, said the former president of the countries, Igor Dodon. He warned that one of the preconditions for joining is for the Republic of Moldova to allow foreigners to buy agricultural land.
“The government is already preparing a speech on a historic day. We had such historic days in 2014, when we signed the association agreement and it ended with nothing for the Republic of Moldova. I believe that this PR action of the current government has nothing to do with what is happening inside the countries. I know that they have been retaining this status as a candidate for the parliamentary elections for several years, in order to be an election bonus. I understand that the current government does not deal with internal problems and takes action on PR. Moreover, I have a question, why don’t they tell us, the citizens, what are the conditions for this candidate status? They were secret, but I have information that there are some very important things that concern the citizens of the Republic of Moldova. For example, they want to give foreign citizens the opportunity to buy agricultural land and liquidate districts. And these things are included as a precondition for the candidate status “, said Igor Dodon, former President of the Republic of Moldova.
The European Union, on the verge of extinction
The Republic of Moldova will not become a member of the EU and it is possible that the European Union will not exist in the next 5-7-10 years, said Igor Dodon, former President of the Republic of Moldova. “Don’t you see what’s happening in the EU? The Bulgarian government has fallen and I believe that more and more political crises will follow as in Bulgaria and more governments will fall. When countries as important and strong as the United Kingdom leave the EU, and Moldova, with its unresolved issues, including territorial ones, rushes somewhere, I think it is wrong, “said Igor Dodon. He reminded that there are states that have had the status of candidate for many years, following the example of Turkey, which has been waiting for 23 years. In addition to Turkey, Albania, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia also have EU candidate status. Albania has been a candidate since 2014, Northern Macedonia since 2005, Montenegro since 2010 and Serbia since 2012, all of which are far from joining the European Union.
From state of emergency to state of emergency
The current power of the Republic of Moldova has declared a state of emergency since January 20, and since then it has been extended successively. The last extension took place on Thursday, June 23. “Such a state of emergency is only possible in the madhouse. How can you be in a state of emergency for a year, continuously? Folks, more of you in Parliament! – gather when you want in Maia Sandu’s office – 60 people can fit in without any problems and have meetings when you need them. Either they hide something, or they are so disorganized, or it is simply a madhouse. But, sooner or later, they will have to answer for every decision – for the division of the budget and many others “, said the former President of the Republic of Moldova, Igor Dodon.
