A bus with children crashed in Prague. 15 people were injured, rescuers intervened on the spot

A bus and a car collided in Prague 11 in K Horkám Street on Thursday morning. Prague rescuers and police officers intervened on the spot. Rescue workers treated 15 injured people on the spot, including 12 children who went on a school trip.
On Thursday, shortly before 9:30 a.m., a traffic accident occurred in Prague’s Chodov. VK Horkám, a bus collided down the street with a car. The collision claimed 15 slightly injured, including 12 schoolchildren.
“A doctor, an inspector and also a special Fénix car are interfering there. There are at least 15 injured on the spot, everyone is conscious, but mostly of minor injuries,” Prague rescuers said in twitter.

All 12 injured children were then examined by doctors. “In connection with the bus accident on Thursday, we admitted 12 children for outpatient examinations at the Department of Pediatric Surgery and Traumatology. According to initial police findings, it appears that the driver of the car may have been responsible for the accident. “The causes of the accident are still being investigated, but according to the first information, the driver of the car had it in the opposite direction,” Prague police spokeswoman Martina Špryslová informed TN.cz.

The owner of the crashed bus is BUDOS-BUS from Budyně nad Ohří. “We are currently writing protocols. The school trip had to be canceled because we do not have a free bus. We do not have to provide alternative bus transport because the accident occurred about two kilometers from the school,” the company said.
