New names, so it’s worth waiting for autumn – the first Isolation Budapest is coming as part of the Liszt Festival!
Elton John’s favorite performer, a Toronto singer known for her dark, intimate ballads who also conquered the cult Berlin Berghain, and the British favorite of The Times in 2021 will also be brought to the Budapest audience. Flour Holiday and the Aquarium Club ‘s co – organized brand new music mini – festival, Isolation Budapest. Black Country, New Road, Westerman, Michelle Gurevich, Efterklang and Night Beats are also coming: ticket sales for the exceptional program on Festival Day on October 15th will begin on Friday, June 24th!
The Liszt Festival International Cultural Festival is a festival of unforgettable, special fusion and experience initiatives, where countless genres, including world music or the fine arts, receive their own “festival at the festival”. It is a series of events that take place in the context of the Flour Festival, but have a unique, unmistakable character. Isolation Budapest, which made its debut this year, will join the ranks of these, with the aim of allowing the audience to choose from the most exciting performers on the international music scene by entering each room of the Aquarium Club. The atmosphere of cloudy, autumn weather will be a perfect match for the international underground line-up event, which awaits festival-makers underground at the Aquarium Club for the first time on October 15th.
Westerman arrives, who Elton John himself put it in 2020: “I am very proud of my first album, which was released in 1969. But Westerman’s first record is so much better than mine! This is my favorite and the best album of the year so far. ” In addition to Westerman’s solo concert, one of the most anticipated performers of the day is Black Country, New Road, announced by The Times as the most exciting new band of 2021. Undoubtedly, the sound world of a few bands can be described as if an anarchist klezmer band is playing a rave adorned with contemporary classical musical motifs, but this is exactly the situation here, and the effect is brilliant.
