Then the walkable surfaces, concreting and, according to the architect’s design, the surface treatment are completed. Everything will be complemented by lighting, a camera system, information panels and protective grilles, “Jan Parchanski, project manager at the Swietelsky Rail construction company, told Deník Rovnost.

On the new footbridge, pedestrians should start walking in mid-August. The original overpass above the track will go to the ground at that time, as will the neighboring technology bridge, which will be replaced by a new one. Extensive modifications to the train station in Adamov are part of the reconstruction of the railway corridor between Brno and Blansko for 6 billion crowns. It started last fall. The new station will cost 834 million. It includes the renovation of the track, retaining and noise walls, a more modern station building and a parking lot for 30 cars. Trains will start running on the Brno – Blansko section from 12 December. “Construction work is proceeding according to plan, despite minor complications. We have already managed to complete the artificial constructions for the most part, and we are starting work on the platforms and the railway undercarriage, ”commented Parchanski.
