Homeless people were abused by this security guard in Budapest
According to the indictment, the man was employed by a company that is responsible for, among other things, the security of a chain of stores, the prosecutor’s office said.

On August 24, 2020, the security guard performed a night patrol on a car owned by the company. He stops at the back parking lot of one of the District X stores, then strikes a homeless man sleeping on the ground several times with a telescopic metal rod (called a viper), only shouting to hide from there.
The victim suffered minor injuries that healed within eight days.
this defendant noticed five other men a little further away, they were also lying on the ground, one of them asleep. The accused shouted at one of them to get up and leave, and then he began to say the four other men with the viper all over his body. One of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries in the abuse and died at the hospital two months later. The occurrence of injuries and death can be established in an indirect causal context, the prosecutor’s office wrote.

The other three victims were more easily injured, but they also had the potential for more serious injuries as a result of using the viper, he added.
The General Prosecutor’s Office of the Metropolitan Prosecutor with the crime of bodily injury causing death, an attempt to commit a serious bodily injury, or – in the case of the two sleeping victims – an attempt to commit a serious bodily injury to persons unable to defend themselves. The Attorney General’s Office filed a prison sentence against the accused.
