new violence at the Anse lake, Keolis charters buses for the disruptors
The weekends seem to resemble the Colombier lake in Anse, about twenty kilometers from Lyon.
This Saturday, the tension was still very high in the vicinity of the particularly popular place of freshness with rising temperatures. According to information from Progress, about thirty individuals attacked a couple in a car around 4:30 p.m. The latter, for having refused to bring young people back to the Lyon suburbs, saw the suspects knock on their car before a fight broke out. The motorist was injured in the wrist during the brawl according to our colleagues.
After another incident with a pedalo rental manager, the situation got out of hand again at the end of the day not far from the town’s SNCF station. According to the Rhône gendarmerie, individuals have been charged at the start of the last free shuttles which are distributed towards Lyon. But the troublemakers refused to pay their train tickets, the gendarmerie was forced to intervene.
The police asked Keolis to send two buses to pick up latecomers. While waiting for the arrival of the shuttles, a hedge was set on fire. On board the specially deployed transports, new clashes occurred. Once again, the police were forced to intervene to restore calm between the individuals. Finally, the two shuttles were escorted by the military to Vaise station in the 9th arrondissement of Lyon.
At the end of May, violence had already been recorded near the same body of water in Colombier. Two groups of young individuals had clashed during a giant brawl with mortar fireworks.
