Tough neighbor settlement for the junior girls | handball.nr
In Friday’s settlement, it ended in a draw between Norway and Sweden, in the first match of the Scandinavian Open Championship which is played in Kalmar in Sweden.
On Saturday, Denmark was the opponent for the junior girls (LK02), and it was a tough experience.
The first round was marked by many technical errors for the Norwegian girls, who after a short time were below 2-0. The first Norwegian scoring comes after three minutes, and in general the round is a goalless affair set with Norwegian eyes.
At the break, Denmark was ahead with 11 goals, at the position 8-19.
In the second half, things were better for Norway. Closer defense, and more guts and drive forward. Still, it did not help much, as the technical errors continued and the rescues failed.
Norway still kept the pressure up, and managed if nothing else to lead large parts of the second round.
In the final minutes of the match, Norway got an unfortunate view, which meant that they had to end the match with one player less. This took full advantage of Denmark, and they won in the end with 13 goals, 23-36.
On Sunday morning, Norway will meet the Netherlands in the last match in the SOC, and the match can be streamed HER from 1000 o’clock.
The case is being updated.
