The city district of Prague 13 is preparing a community garden in Velká Ohrada, near the Janský primary school. Community gardens will serve for active recreation for locals. Land measuring 5 thousand m2

“We have been preparing the community garden for a long time, but like every city district in Prague, we are dealing with complicated property relations. First of all, the land must be owned by the city district and available to a sufficient number of inhabitants who could join the community

Currently, this land is not used and due to the size of this space offers the possibility of a generous solution. Community gardens will provide the involved group with a space for joint cultivation of fruits, vegetables, herbs and the neighbor will create a functional place for rest and meeting. The town hall has cleared the entire plot of land from old bushes and is starting work on building the space itself
