Eintracht Frankfurt: Evan Ndicka most expensive professional – Ansgar Knauff doubles market value – Bundesliga
The sensational title win in the Europa League drives up the prices for Eintracht’s stars!
With their performances, the Frankfurters have played their way into the limelight in Europe…
The result is large jumps in market value. According to transfermarkt.de, the entire Eintracht squad is now worth 224 million euros. An increase of 25 million. This makes Eintracht the biggest market value winner in the league.
High flyer Ansgar Knauff (20) even increased his value from 5 to 10 million. With the BVB loan, sports boss Markus Krösche (41) was spot on in January.
Knauff was an absolute stroke of luck, quickly earning a place as a regular and was one of Eintracht’s best in the knockout stages with goals against Barca and West Ham.
The most valuable Eintracht professional is Evan Ndicka (22). The defense man is now worth 32m – estimate 4m up. The jumps by Filip Kostic (29/+4 to 24 million) and Djibril Sow (25/+4.5 to 22 million) were also strong. Final hero Rafael Borré (26) adds 3 million and is now estimated at 20 million.
He came from River Plate on a free transfer before the season. But there were also losers at Eintracht. Danny da Costa (28/goes to Mainz) is now worth just 2.3m, down 1.2m. Constantly injured unlucky Christopher Lenz (27) is down 1m (now 4m) .
Nevertheless: The new market values of the stars should please Krösche. Especially with potential departures like Ndicka or Kostic, he might be able to get a few more euros out of it now…
