The last three attempts. Tomáš Míka won one silver medal
On the first weekend of June, swimmers gathered in the capital of the Czech Republic for an outdoor pool in Podolí at the already traditional international competitions in Prague 2022, to measure their strength not only with the Czech elite, but also with representatives from Slovakia, Germany and other countries. A total of 646 competitors from 80 divisions were used.

The Beroun locomotive and the city of Beroun came to Prague to be represented by L. Ux, T. Míka, T. Ludvík, J. Valečka, Z. Křížová, D. Plhal, E. Merxbauerová, M. Hončík, E. Wittenbergerová, A. Říhová and B Zítková. The biggest support of the Berouns was Tomáš Míka, who fought his way to the final A three times in 50, 100 and 200 meters freestyle, where he fought for a medal position, but unfortunately twice caught up with the so-called “dohmat” in an unpopular fourth place (50 and 200m VZ).
Finally, at the end of the race, he was happy in the last event of the 100 meters freestyle, when he finished in second place and with a smile he reached the podium for the silver medal.
The team proved that they are in great shape before the upcoming open summer championship of the Czech Republic, which will take place at the end of June again in the Podolsk swimming pool in Prague.
Beroun is final, leaving the division
The others tried to imitate their teammate, but only Zuzka Křížová managed to make it to the finals of the 200-meter butterfly, where he finished in eighth place. Nevertheless, the other competitors did not make it to the finals, so they set very high personal records.
