Last time you should have known Matoušová Street in Prague 5. Smíchovská Street connects Štefánikova and Zborovská streets.
Matoušova street in Prague 5.It leads around Portheimka. It is named after the last private owner of this palace, Zdeněk Matouš. Matthew was executed by the Nazis after they refused to give up the gardens in favor of the youth organization Hitlerjugend.
Until 1939, the journalist and writer Ferdinand Peroutka lived in the street. A commemorative plaque commemorates his personality at the house in Matoušova Street 5.
