It is not possible. The Mushrooms arranged a proposal on how to lighten Prague. So he goes after Fiala
Prague Mayor Zdeněk Hřib (Pirates) wants to meet with Prime Minister Petr Fiala (ODS) to relocate Ukrainian refugees to less busy regions. Hřib criticizes the government for its approach to the problem of relocation and criticizes it for its lack of approach in finding motivation to move refugees to less busy regions. Hřib told ČTK after the online meeting of the governors with government representatives. On Wednesday, according to him, due to the congestion of Prague, the municipality’s crisis staff will discuss the possible closure of the KACPU assistance center for refugees in Vysočany.

With a large influx of refugees, Prague is affected by up to four times more than in some other regions, according to the mayor’s earlier statement. The Refugee Assistance Center, which serves Prague and Central Bohemia, has so far handled over 90,000 people. Due to the large number of Roman refugees residing at the main railway station, a tent town had to be built in Troy, and a second one was being established in Malešice.
“I was told today that I am not legally possible to limit refugee benefits in congested regions. Unfortunately, no other alternatives have been introduced to provide sufficient incentives for an even distribution of refugees in the regions. I do not agree with this conclusion, “said Hřib.
According to the mayor, obtaining an effective tool for a more even distribution of refugees in the regions does not seem to be a high government priority. “Personally, I do not understand this, because even the Ukrainian ambassador (Jevhen Perebyjnis) is trying to force his compatriots to go to less busy regions than Prague,” said Hřib.
Due to the current situation, I therefore request a date for a personal meeting with Prime Minister Fiala. “I am deeply convinced that we need to help the refugees from Ukraine, because they are mainly children and women, fathers and men are defending Europe from the Russian threat. However, the possibilities we have at our disposal must be used effectively, “added Hřib.
The municipal crisis staff will deal with the refugee crisis in Prague at its meeting on Wednesday. Its members will discuss, among other things, the possible closure of the KACPU. The mushroom said in mid-May that the center was in danger of closing. The Crusaders finally decided not to close its city by the end of May. The staff is also to discuss the situation at the Central Station and the commissioning of the tent town in Malešice. Voluntary humanitarian aid is also expected to end at Central Station from Wednesday, June 1.
