Toulouse: Céline and Justine, two creators who have juice
Céline and Justine have just created their clothing brand, entirely developed in France, including in Occitania.
They made their first fashion show a few days ago at the Soclo hotel in Toulouse and it was a great success, despite the capricious weather. Céline Despax and Justine Navarro recently created their clothing collection, Juce. A story of friendship and the desire to take up a challenge as a duo: “We were famous in a ready-to-wear boutique in Toulouse, explains Céline. I was a graphic designer and Justine, a stylist by training, was responsible for the collection. When the brand closed, we wanted to combine our skills and create our 100% French brand, to forget a little about the parts made in China, often under questionable conditions. Thanks to new technologies and know-how, the fashion sector is changing in France. We felt the need to be actors in this transformation”.
100% French manufacturing
Result: each month, four to five products designed from a colorful collection with unique patterns are presented on the Ulule website. Parts also offered on the Net from August 1st. About fifty numbered items, from T-shirts, to scarves and a few accessories such as laptop sleeves, etc. A list that is likely to grow in some time with the sale of ceramic items around tableware. Prices that may appear but are justified by the design of these clothes, 100% designed in France. Pieces made in Occitania in Graulhet, near Castres through a work reintegration workshop, fabrics made near Lyon, 100% cotton and finally a printer located in Loiret. An impression made in optimal conditions, in particular without discharges of dirty water. “An adventure that was also able to see the light of day thanks to the first incubators in Occitania which respond to the employment of women through support funds”, note Justine and Céline who, until June 24, call on a crowdfunding campaign to finance their project.
