In a few days, Elizabeth II will celebrate her 70 years of reign. An event for all Britons who will be able to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee. Thus, Boris Johnson went to the Monarch. As revealed by our colleagues from Mirror, the British Prime Minister had touching words for the Queen of Englandwhich he then nicknamed Elizabeth the Great, which can be translated as the Great, the Grandiose. A nice qualifier.
Boris Johnson later told Elizabeth II: “No monarch has ever served the country so long and, even more importantly, no monarch has ever served it so well. She embodies the very idea of what a constitutional monarchy should be,” he pronounced. Subsequently, the Prime Minister paid tribute to these 70 years of reign of the Queen during her time she advised more than 170 heads of government and made no less than 21,000 official commitments! Boris Johnson ended his speech with: “In the name of the whole nation, Vivat Regina Elizabetha! God save Queen Elizabeth”.
Elizabeth II: 200,000 festivities evoked to celebrate the jubilee
The Queen’s Jubilee promises to be grand. From June 2 to 5, many festivities are organized to celebrate the 70 years of reign of the Queen of England: “The Queen is the first British monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, having acceded to the throne on February 6, 1952, at the age of 25”, Buckingham Palace said. If London will obviously be the heart of the festivities, 200,000 other events are organized throughout the country. The British will have the right to two public holidays to celebrate the 70 years of reign of Elizabeth II.
