Lithuania is making its debut in the FIBA Women’s Series and will compete in the first tournament of the season in Tel Aviv (Israel) this weekend, May 28-29. It will depend on how successful Lithuania is in the Women’s Series tournament, whether on November 1, 2023, it will be among the four countries that will travel to the Paris Olympic Olympics without selection. In the first stage of the Women’s Series, the Lithuanian national team is represented by the famous basketball players of the country – Kamilė Nacickaitė, Monika Grigalauskytė, Gabrielė Šulskė and Martyna Petrėnaitė.

Immediately after the battles in Tel Aviv, the Lithuanian women’s team will move to Jerusalem, where they will try to win a ticket to the European Championship on June 9-10.
