The Briton Jack Hughes was the victim of a big accident this Friday during the qualifying session of Formula 2, on the circuit of Monaco. The driver damaged his vehicle but escaped unscathed.
More fear than harm in the port of Monaco. This Friday, May 27, in the Formula 2 category, the Briton Jack Hughes made a frightening exit from the track on the circuit of the Principality, in the middle of a qualifying session. At the very end of Sector 2, the 27-year-old, who races at HWA Racelab, shot a straight. The vehicle rolled along the edges of the circuit before crashing into the railing of the Monaco harbour.

The British pilot, who completely destroyed his single-seater, escaped without damage. However, the session was temporarily stopped by the race director. Despite this accident, the Frenchman Théo Pourchaire started from second place this Sunday.
On the Formula 1 side, the qualifying session will start this Saturday at 4 p.m. The start of the race will take place on Sunday at 3 p.m.
