This Friday, May 27, in the Formula 2 category, the Briton Jack Hughes made a frightening exit from the track on the circuit of the Principality, in the middle of a qualifying session. At the very end of Sector 2, the 27-year-old, who races at HWA Racelab, shot a straight. The vehicle rolled along the edges of the circuit before crashing into the railing of the Monaco harbour.

The British pilot, who completely destroyed his single-seater, escaped without damage. However, the session was temporarily stopped by the race director. Despite this accident, the Frenchman Théo Pourchaire started from second place this Sunday.
On the Formula 1 side, the qualifying session will start this Saturday at 4 p.m. The start of the race will take place on Sunday at 3 p.m.
