From July 1st, the Prince’s Palace of Monaco will once again be accessible to visitors. The opportunity to discover frescoes and large apartments restored with care.
The jewel of the Rock… It took five years of work for the building to regain its full brilliance. In the historic residence of the Grimaldi family, the changes are numerous.
Nearly 600 m² of frescoes have been restored throughout the reinforced palace from 1215.
From the Galerie d’Hercule to the Salon Matignon, renamed the Chamber of Europe, passing by the famous throne room, the curious can admire for the first time the paintings that have been refurbished.
The Grands Appartements have also benefited from a redevelopment with the arrival of new works of art. Paintings by Jacopo Bassano, Orazio de Ferrari and Philippe de Champaigne recently acquired by Prince Albert II.
Visits will be possible from July 1st until October 15th.
Tickets, on sale directly on site, are set at 10 euros for adults and 5 euros for 6–17 year olds and students.
