David Pomahač christened the album “Invisible” with invisible champagne
The Thursday baptism of the album “Invisible” adhered to the existential stories contained in it, and Bára Zmeková in a way adhered to the symbolism associated with the name of this collection. The chamber concert had several excellent moments and confirmed the fact that the connection between David Pomahač and his son Jáchym is functional in all respects.

Those who did not prefer the hockey championship or concurrent events (as a reminder, it was enough to meet one enthusiastic Scorpions fan, who ran the whole subway caught sound perceptions of the songs “Still Loving You” and “Wind Of Change”), could experience the chamber celebration of “Invisible”. The boards on which David Pomahač joined forces with Martin Hůla and wrote the line were for a few moments equipped with fragments of a conversation with Bourk (as her audience called on stage), which suddenly resonated with these stories.

The evening itself was imaginarily divided into three parts. In the first, all the songs from the novelties disappeared in a changed order. Unsurprisingly, the instrumental sketch “Without an End”, which closes the “Invisible” and which indicated a lot with its concept, worked as an intro. “Calm” followed – an ingeniously chosen start. Thanks to the stratification of countless soundtracks, Jáchym started his things in an organized way engine room around you. David even put down his guitar for a few songs and was fully immersed in the rush lines and stories, often full of melancholy and feelings of loneliness. It was almost a performance for a soloist, but he doesn’t need much more words. The pleasantly crowded Café V lese understood him and let himself be mastered by this minimalist presentation and listened carefully. Thus, the “live” rawer contrast of the “breath” stood out. The touching “Clown” complemented and cemented this whole package perfectly.
David actually talked at the end of the block with the title piece from the collection, the first time he introduced Martin, when he had a good idea that he was starting to record the record with Martin Tvrdý and finished it with Martin Hůla. Bourek, if you like Bonus, then grabbed the bass guitar and joined the song “Nobody”, which he calls his favorite of the record. At the very end, “Holiday” was heard, which actually opens up the whole existential sci-fi story, but for this evening it was given a slightly different role. After her came the next guest, who was Bára Zmeková.

She was returning from a concert trip to Greece in the early evening, and everyone was worried that the flight would be delayed. Eventually, everything worked out, and she conjured a humorous moment when she opened it pantomimically invisible champagne and poured it vinyl with “Invisible”. However, her participation was not accidental, together with Pomahač, they remembered the Kieslowski period for three songs. Although she was afraid, although she learned the lyrics that she would wander the word, she managed it. To be sure, she had a handwritten drawing card in her hand, from which the joke of Jaromír Švejdík’s jokes and readers with iPads is a joke. They chose “Touches” from to start this miniblock farewell “Between the blades” to make it clear that this connection should get at least one more repetition – in the acoustic concept as a double voice of Bara and David. It was beautiful and fragile at the same time. No significant outages occurred, and although there was not much room to try, everything settled down. Maybe I’ll see something else in the future.

The evening spanned its last part. It was filled with a selection from the debut “It’s dark in the dark”. “Usually”, the road movie “To the Baltic” or “Behind the Light” crossed from a fictional world to a much more civil, intimate one. These steps are not a problem for the Helpers and are an unmissable unique with its own rules. Before the three additions, the already excited audience at that time began to demand many more pieces. However, they had to suffice “It’s Dark Out”, “Dirty Laundry” and Dancing “Magic”, which has not yet reached any of David’s studio.
“Invisible” and “Darkness is Far Away” are two worlds that are still close to each other. They work on the authenticity and intimacy of the storytelling, in which David Pomahač is recognizable. His manuscript crystallized as early as Kieslowski’s time, and Thursday’s baptism showed how everything is well connected and can come to life again at any time. The connection with Martin Hůla also worked in the same way, the question is whether it would not be worthwhile to make an exception for one day and keep this producer for the next album, but so far these are just wishes and conjectures. But the evening with a whole range of emotions (many resonated with the sad news of the departure of Depeche Mode keyboardist Andy Fletcher) turned out great, to the satisfaction of all involved.
