SLIDESHOW. Princess Charlene of Monaco appears in public, says she is “more serene” but believes that her health is “still fragile”

Princess Charlene, who was returned to the Rock last March, after a long absence for health problemsclaimed to feel better, in an interview with our colleagues from the Nice-Matin group.
She admitted that her “State of health is still fragile, and I don’t want to go too fast. The path has been long, difficult and so painful. Today I feel calmer.”
It was with her daughter that Charlène of Monaco took the stage.
It is 7-year-old Princess Gabriella, who presented an award during this evening, her mother guiding her by her side.

As part of a trip to South Africa a few months ago, the country where she grew up and of which she is a national, Prince Albert’s wife, 44, had undergone surgery in the summer of 2021.
In September, she had been rushed to hospital after becoming unwell due to complications related to the serious infection of the ear, nose and throat contracted in May, had explained its foundation.
She then underwent, the following month, an operation under general anesthesia.
On November 23, a source close to the Palace told AFP that the former Olympic swimmer had been admitted “in a specialized establishment following great fatigue linked to his weakness”.
A convalescence of several months was then looming, forcing the wife of the Monegasque sovereign not to participate in the national holidays of the city-state.
The Palace then announced on March 12 that Charlene had returned to the principality.
It was from the spring that his appearances became more numerous, like here with his two children, at the Stade Louis-II.
Asked about the rumors that circulated during his long absenceCharlene replied: “You want to talk about divorce rumors or my new home in Switzerland… I still find it regrettable that certain media peddle such rumors about my life, my couple”.
“Like everyone else, we are human beings and like all human beings, we have emotions and weaknesses, only our family is exposed to the media and the slightest weakness is relayed”she lamented.
The prince couple have been married since 2011, and in early July, he will celebrate his 11th wedding anniversary.
