50th Rally San Marino – The San Marino event takes shape on 8 and 9 July
There is great excitement and the enthusiasm of the great achievements in the organizational staff of FAMS – the San Marino Motoring Federation – which is working around the 50th San Marino Rally, scheduled for next 8 and 9 July.
The fiftieth anniversary edition of one of the most iconic and history-laden races is taking shape with an already outlined program. Together with the proposal of a rally, like, of high level and faithfully on those dirt roads that have always been the quintessence of the specialty, such long and important initiatives are being taken care of.
The validity of the 50th San Marino Rally, which will be the third round of the Italian Land Rally Championshipquarter of Italian Historic Land Rally Championshipwith the parallel 7th San Marino Historic Rally, and third test for the young talents of the Junior Absolute Italian Championship. Also within the San Marino Rally, the protagonists of the Italian Cup Rally 5th Zoneof which it will be the second of the four stages on the calendar and which also includes the new one Trophy N5 Italyalso open to the Open N5 as well as the series Italian Trophy Rone format Reserved for Zone Rally Cup participants.
For all, registrations will open on Tuesday 7 June, to close on Wednesday 29 June.
The rally headquarters, common to all three races, it will be in its place Multieventi Sport Domus in Serravalle di San Marino, dove it will also be the Service Park.
TRICOLOR CHALLENGES AT THE 50TH SAN MARINO RALLY
Once the Val d’Orcia rally and the Adriatic have been archived, it will be the turn of the San Marino Rally to host the fierce group of Italian Earth Championship and the “terrible boys” of Junior Absolute Italian Championship. Wednesday 6 July the operations of verification, control of documents and delivery of material for reconnaissance, plates and race numbers will begin. Operations that will continue Thursday 7while the authorized reconnaissance of the route will also start, from 9.00 to 19.30. Friday 8 it will be the turn of technical checks before the race that will precede it shakingstarting at 11.00 and earlier for priority and CIRT registered drivers.
At 19.30 in the evocative Old Town of San Marino celebration of the 50th of the race, which precedes the start of the rally, at 21.30, just before the night reorganization.
Saturday 9th Julyat 7.15 am, the start of the race, with final finishfrom 7.00 pm, in the historic center of San Marino.
THE 7TH HISTORICAL RALLY OF SAN MARINO FOURTH APPOINTMENT WITH THE CIRTS, THE “HISTORIC” ITALIAN
It will be the fourth round of the Italian Historic Land Rally Championship the one that will be staged with the 7th San Marino Historic Rally and follows the Valli del Tevere, Val d’Orcia and Medio Adriatico rallies. Thursday 7th July the operations of verification and control of documents and delivery of material for reconnaissance, plates and race numbers will begin and, in the late afternoon, the authorized reconnaissance of the route will begin, which will continue Friday 8, until 12.00. Half an hour after the start of the technical scrutineering before the race and, from 15.00 to 16.00, the possibility of carrying out the shakedown by reservation. The “historians” will set off for the start of the rally, at 21.30, at the end of the “modern” rally.
Saturday 9 July, at 7.00start of the race, with final arrival from 18.00, in the historic center of San Marino.
THE SAN MARINO RALLY SECOND APPOINTMENT OF THE 5th ZONE RALLY CUP
In essence, it will follow the program and the entire route of the “major” rally, for a stimulating direct challenge with the protagonists of the CIRT. In reality, the crews interested in the Zone Rally Cup will look at their particular ranking (the San Marino Rally is the second seasonal round of the 5th Zone, out of the four by title), both for the race on the calendar in the Emilia-Romagna, Marche, Umbria and the Republic of San Marino but also for admission to the National Final of the Italian Cup at the end of the season, the great challenge between all the best eight Zones.
