While the last drivers pass in places at more than 250 km/h a few centimeters from the rails, the latter are often the justice of the peace during the race but especially during qualifying. An incredible performance at the wheel of a Ferrari that was less efficient than its competitors last year. However, Leclerc, then very confident, wanted to put a layer of it back and touched the rails in the pool chicane. An error for which he paid dearly since the next day his gearbox broke even before it was put on the grid. While he has not finished the slightest Monaco GP Since the beginning of his career, Charles Leclerc will be keen to ward off the fate that has dogged him since the start of his career.

From Monday, May 23, Météo France is forecasting capricious weather this weekend. Despite a temperature of 25 degrees expected over the whole weekend, showers will threaten the Principality on Saturday and Sunday. The confidence index is currently only at 1/5 or 2/5, discounts to be taken with a pinch of salt for the moment. Criticized for its lack of spectacle in the race, this Grand Prix could turn into a spectacular race if these hopes turn out to be correct.
