Thomas Pesquet soon to visit the Cité de l’espace
It is a particular moment which is announced at the Toulouse Space City Friday, June 3. L’astronaut Thomas Pesquet will indeed be in Toulouse from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. for an exchange with the public. A meeting jointly organized by the Space Citythe European Space Agency (ESA), the National Center for Space Studies (CNES) and Toulouse Métropole.
Back on Earth last November after six months on board the International Space Station (ISS), thefrench astronaut will share images of this extraordinary experience. Its arrival in Toulouse confirms the city in its status as European capital of space.
The public will be able to ask their questions to Thomas Pesquet
How do we live in weightlessness? What is the daily life of the International Space Station? What does Earth look like from space? So many points on which the general public will be able to question Thomas Pésquet, promising a privileged moment with the astronaut. Participants will also be able to discover all the people who gravitate around the missions of the most famous French astronaut, namely a physical trainer, a project manager or even a person in charge of experiments in microgravity.
It should also be noted that the Cité de l’espace, in partnership with ESA and CNES, is offering an exhibition around the major European missions that follow on board the ISS. Among them, the Mission Alphadirected by Thomas Pesquet.
The meeting with Thomas Pesquet is subject to registration, soon available on the Cité de l’espace website and mandatory to access the site on June 3.
