Fines from San Marino: the sanctioning management of the Local Police has been outsourced
Administrative sanctions for Sulmonese (or tourists) will come directly from across the border, more precisely from San Marino. In a nutshell, this is the resolution signed by the Commander of the Local Police, Massimiliano Giancaterino. In fact, the Municipality of Sulmona has learned to adopt a direct negotiation on the MEPA for the assignment of the management services of the sanctioning procedure under the responsibility of the local police; and since the maximum amount of the contract is 138,000 euros (below the figure of 150,000 beyond which it should go to tender), it will deal directly with the company Sapidata Spa, based in San Marino.
The reason for this contract is reported in the determination, it is to be traced in the fact that the verification activity is carried out in a personal way by the highway code in such a way as to be burdensome by the local police personnel from which to set aside the operational services. In fact, urban districts must take care of all data entry activities, acquisition of data of offenders, printing, notifying and reporting payments. All this despite the presence in the offices of a management application of the company Maggioli Spa (group of solutions that come in support of the Public Administration). A workload that with outsourcing will be almost eliminated and of the Titano where the enormous Sapidata company resides (Piemme used to find the installations under the highway code) which in any case will not have authoritative powers in the way of the delivery of sanctions.
