Exhibitions: National Geographic photos reveal the oceans in Pisa – Tuscany
(ANSA) – PISA, 20 MAY – “Oceans, the last frontier” is the photographic exhibition dedicated to the exploration of the seas, by pioneers such as Jacques-Yves Cousteau and Sylvia Earle, historical explorer of National Geographic and one of the first women to dedicate themselves all oceanography, set up at Palazzo Blu in Pisa in collaboration with National Geographic and open from tomorrow to 4 September. “We will meet the most fascinating species of the abyss, from gigantic marine mammals to the most ferocious predators – explains a note from the Pisan museum – but also carpets of algae where the fish reproduce and feed, as well as coral reefs.
