VIDEO. In Toulouse, an exhibition on the heritage of the Occitanie region visible to users of Matabiau station
The association Patrimoines & Territoires and the SNCF are partners of the photographic exhibition visible at the Matabiau station, until July 31, which highlighted Occitanie.
Like what is already practiced at Toulouse Blagnac airport, the Matabiau station in Toulouse has launched since mid-April a photo exhibition (visible until July 31 in the basement) which highlights the heritage of the Occitanie region, avoiding the major sites.
In total, around fifty photos of little-represented municipalities in large format, which allow users and travelers in a hurry to walk through the landscapes of the Tarn to the Hérault.
Thursday, May 19 in the afternoon, the former president of the Region Martin Malvy who chairs the association Patrimoines & Territoires, the director of SNCF Gares & Connexions Marlène Dolveck and the deputy mayor of Toulouse Pierre Esplugas-Labatut contested the event which is also part of a communication campaign.
Communication operation for user feedback
The exhibition, which has already been displayed on the gates of the Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris, aims to make “people want to rediscover these magnificent villages, about how beautiful, designated France is. To the will of the SNCF to relaunch the stations in France. Post-pandemic crisis, we can clearly feel a revival of the territories, ”assures Marlène Dolveck.
“It’s an exhibition that I organized with the Senate, ten years ago, remembers Martin Malvy. Above all, we succeeded in bringing together seven associations for common communication actions”.
