Ukraine serves an individual approach in granting it the status of a candidate for EU membership
Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba told Dutch lawmakers that Ukraine is taking an individual approach to granting it EU candidate status.
According to Ukrinform, the head of Ukrainian diplomacy said Twitter.
“He informed Dutch deputies about the latest events in Russia’s war against Ukraine. I stressed that Ukraine is fighting not only for its own, but also for the future and freedom of Europe. Ukraine deserves an individual merit-based approach when granting EU candidate status, “Kuleba wrote.
According to the report, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba is in The Hague to hold meetings with members of the government and parliament to coordinate steps to strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities, expand sanctions against Russia and strengthen the European Union.
During his visit to the Netherlands, Kuleb will also pay special attention to the promotion of Ukraine’s lawsuits against Russia in international courts to bring Russia to justice for its crimes against Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.
