Pre-registration is mandatory for the Prague – Prčice march

TÁBOR / MLADÁ VOŽICE / MILEVSKO – On Saturday, May 21, the 55th year of the legendary march Prague – Prčice will take place. This time the starting points are also Tábor and Mladá Vožice. However, this year’s novelty of the organizers is only electronic registration in advance. Likewise, the entry fee of 40 crowns must be paid in advance. Registration will no longer be possible at the starting points on Saturday.
The march’s website reports that both 30-kilometer and 43-kilometer-long pedestrian routes from Tábor do not accept further registrations. It is also no longer possible to register for the 36-kilometer route, which starts from the bus station in Mladá Vožica.
The website reported vacancies on the evening of Tuesday, May 17 on the cycle routes from Tábor. From 9 am to 10.30 am you can start from the bus station on a 74-kilometer route, from 9.30 am to 10.30 am on a 61-kilometer children’s cycle route. Only two adults can ride with one child, the children’s cycling route is also intended for seniors over 60 years of age. After returning from Prčice, the cycle routes have a destination at the Tábor falconry from 1.30 pm to 6 pm. The registration deadline is May 24 at 24 hours.
Registered participants will submit an e-mail at the starting points confirming that the entry fee has been paid and that they will receive a map with places for stamps at the checks. The 30-kilometer Tábor walking route starts from 7.30 am to 10.15 am, and 43 kilometers from 7.30 am to 9.15 am from the bus station. The start in Mladá Vožice is from 7.15 am to 9.15 am. The organizers draw attention to the alternative bus transport on the railway line between Olbramovice and Chotoviny.
From Milevsko and Petrovice
Also, both walking routes from the House of Culture in Milevsko – both 31 kilometers and 40 kilometers, are no longer accepted. It is also no longer possible to register for the 30-kilometer route, which starts from the course in Petrovice. The website reported the last vacancies on Tuesday evening for a 66-kilometer cycle route from Milevsko. The deadline is May 19 at 24 hours.
The 31-kilometer Milevská route starts from 7.30 am to 10 am, and to the 40-kilometer route from 7 am to 9 am. In Petrovice, the start is from 7.30 to 10.30. The cycle route departs from the Milevsko House of Culture from 9 am to 10 am. It is necessary to arrive at the destination in the same place by 5 pm.
