The three nominated B&Bs are classified in the category 5 tulips, the highest attainable segment within the classification system of Stichting Bed & Breakfast Nederland. The three candidates are particularly good when it comes to comfort, private facilities and services. The accommodations are also given high marks in the guest reviews on Bedandbreakfast.nl. Both objective, measurable quality standards and subjective assessments on Bedandbreakfast.nl count in the annual election.
“Comfort, luxury and experience play a greater role at B&Bs, which is also clearly reflected in this year’s three nominees”, says Hanny Arens of Stichting Bed & Breakfast Nederland. “They all offer a perfect stay with a fantastic breakfast. In addition, they all offer a unique experience, for example with private wellness, table d’hôtes or a stately estate. Guests are therefore lyrical about these B&Bs!”
