Ukraine received a € 150 million soft loan from Germany
At its meetings on May 17, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution on attracting a soft loan of up to 150 million euros from the State Bank of the Government of Germany – Credit Institution for Reconstruction (KfW).
As Ukrinform reports with reference to Government portalThe Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal said.
“Ukraine has provided financial support to Germany in the amount of 150 million euros, which increases the total amount of support from Germany to 300 million euros. These others will be aimed at supporting citizens and the kind of critical infrastructure “, – the construction of our Shmygal.
It is noted that the loan for 15 years is given for a period of deferral of the first payment of 5 years from the date of the agreement.
According to Shmygal, the financial support of Ukraine’s international partners has already exceeded $ 5 billion since February 24 this year. The Prime Minister also notes that in the last few weeks an agreement has been reached to obtain a loan from the Government of Japan in the amount of 10 million dollars and financial support from the World Bank in the amount of 1.5 billion dollars.
